NEW FEATURES
Audit Trail
This release provides the option to enable an Audit Trail on the Point clients. By default, after the upgrade to PointCentral 7.2, this feature is not enabled. To enable Audit Trail, go to the Parameters page and check the box in the Audit Trail section. Enabling this feature will automatically log every field change, which user was in the file at the time, and electronic document storage actions. The logging occurs for all PointCentral and local data folders whenever Point is connected to PointCentral. Only users with the security privileges are able to view the audit trail from the Utilities menu in the Point client. To enable the option for a user to view the Audit Trail in Point, the Administrator must edit the data folder security, and select the "View" option. By default, the option to view the Audit Trail is turned off for new and existing users/groups.Rules
New rule conditions have been added which allow the PointCentral Administrator to add actions for when the rule is triggered. When entering the words "Pending Request" in the condition field, you can block the ability to take certain actions based on file status or individual loan fields. Furthermore, the rule can be set up to require more fields before performing any of these actions. The Pending Request list contains the following requests:- AUS
- Closing Documents
- Credit
- Email File
- Email Forms
- Flood Certification
- Initial Disclosures
A new dropdown has been added that contains "Prospect-Borrower" and "Borrower." This option allows the rule to run in both prospect and borrower files, or only borrower files.
