On March 1, 2006, Calyx Software will issue an I-Update that automatically updates the interfaces in Point (version 5.2). The update installs automatically and adds new vendors to the Services in Point and Preferred Point Partners menus. The I-Update also updates existing interfaces as needed.
The update process applies to Services in Point and Preferred Point Partners only—no personal information is collected and no modifications are made to any other portions of Point software. Sometime in March, after Point users open their 5.2 software and are connected to the Internet, Point will automatically receive and install the I-Update. This update includes:

Truth in Lending Screen Update
Truth in Lending now displays the correct date of last payment when PMI is changed for number of months, Cancel At %, or Mid Point Cancellation checkbox.
Mortgage Insurance
Up-Front MIP entered onto the Mtg. Insurance pop-up screen on the Borrower Information screen now flows to the expected locations within the Point file. Up-Front MIP now flows to the Details of Transaction section, Line G on the Loan Application Page 4; on the Good Faith Estimate, Line 902; and on the FHA MCAW, Line 3b.

To take advantage of the latest advancements in technology, Point 5.3, scheduled for release in the summer of 2006, will not support Windows NT. Although Point 5.3 will not install on computers running Windows NT 4.0, Calyx will continue to support non-retired versions of Point (version 5.0 and higher), all of which are compatible with Windows NT 4.0. Information about Point 5.3 and its wealth of new features will be included in the April 2006 newsletter.
