Calyx Software will issue an I-Update that updates the interfaces in Point (versions 5.2 and higher). The update installs automatically and adds new vendors to the Lenders, Services, and Interfaces menus in Point. The I-Update also updates existing connections to lenders and mortgage services as needed.
The update process applies only to company listings in the Lenders, Services, and Interfaces menus in Point — no personal information is collected and no modifications are made to any other portions of your Point software. Sometime shortly after January 5, when Point 5.2 and 5.3 users open their software and are connected to the Internet, Point will automatically receive and install the I-Update.

Calyx Software is pleased to announce that we will begin shipping the latest version of Point® on January 31, 2007. Full of enhanced features, Point 5.4 makes loan marketing, origination, processing, and reporting more streamlined than ever before. If your subscription is up-to-date, you should receive this upgrade, free of charge, by February 17. Highlights of the new program are listed below.
Enhanced Features
• Loan Status tracking — displays the latest information about your loan file in the Navigation Bar
• Streamlined Piggyback loans — automatic synchronization of primary and secondary loan files
• Additional forms including Request for Payoff, IRS W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification), and FL Mortgage Brokerage Fee Agreement with Addendum; and a new Verification of Benefits tracking screen
• Important compliance and other updates in the VOE, 1003, FHA forms for home inspections and Analysis of Appraisal, and several Florida disclosures
• Flexible report formatting and additional security options for reports
• Truth-in-Lending screen includes new loan file options — option ARM, hybrid option ARM, interest-only bi-weekly, and interest-only buy down loans
• Ability to order Title reports and Verifications of Income and Employment from the Services menu. New vendors include CBCInnovis and First Title and Escrow for title reports, and The Work Number (a service of TALX Corporation) for verifications of income and employment
• New credit vendor — Score Advisor — available in the Interfaces > Credit Services menu
• One-click resizing of graphics files, support for JPEG and GIF images as well as BMPs for creating Open House Flyers and other Marketing documents
• Simplified Pop-up Help activation

To receive Point 5.4 promptly, please make sure that Calyx has your latest contact information on file. If your subscription is up-to-date, you will receive this upgrade free of charge. To update your company information, please have your primary contact with Calyx open Point and follow these simple steps:
· Go to the Utilities menu
· Click Company Defaults
· Select Company Information
· Enter your information
· Click the link entitled, "Have you moved recently?"
· Your updated information will be sent to Calyx
