The Tritus Insurance interface in Point® expands Hazard/Homeowners Insurance offerings to mortgage originators.
Using the new interface in Point allows mortgage originators to launch the Tritus Insurance transactional website directly from inside Point, enabling them to send and receive homeowner’s insurance data without leaving the application.

Complete compatibility with Point and Point Data Server.
Tritus and Calyx completed the integration on September 6, 2007 using Calyx’s WebConnect technology, ensuring complete compatibility and integration with the Point and Point Data Server.

 AFI Resources arms Calyx Point users with a leading integrated income verification service, etaxrecords.com’s direct verification through IRS main data centers.
The new integration of AFI Resources’ secure tax verification system into Point addresses the trend for leading lenders to require income verification in today’s residential market. Processing the Request for Transcript of Tax Return (4506-T) through AFI Resources will in many cases increase the value of loans to investors.

Orders typically processed within 24 hours.
The XML data exchange interface allows Point users to typically verify their borrowers’ incomes with just a couple clicks inside Point, and within 24 hours receive results in .pdf format directly from IRS main data centers.

Reducing potential delays and fraud at pre-funding.
The integration of etaxrecords.com into Point makes it quick and easy for loan originators to verify income without encountering the typical delays of waiting for borrowers to locate their tax returns and risking having their loans denied right before closing or even at the closing table or potentially reducing the value of the loan to your investors. Loan Originators can now make it standard policy to run the 4506-T, on all their loans, with this fast, secure, income verification service, without delaying closings.

Point Software Update 6.0a is now available for download, free of charge to all current Point 6.0 subscribers. The update provides Point 6.0 owners with compliance solutions for doing business in certain states, and a few other updates to the Point program.

Point users doing business in Florida and Washington will need to upgrade to Point 6.0a in order to meet legal requirements there. If you are using a version of Point earlier than 6.0 and need the update, you will need to upgrade to 6.0 before installing the 6.0a update.
