Point 6.1 ships in May

Calyx Software is pleased to announce that we will begin shipping Point^® 6.1 on May 6. The new version of Point will include the following new and updated features:

Loan Checklist & Loan Status Pipeline Report — Our users have asked us for an easy method for tracking deliverables in each loan file, so we’ve built a two-part solution: 1.) an updated, more robust Status screen in the Track menu and 2.) the status screen feeds into the all-new Loan Checklist. All basic documents and miscellaneous items can be tracked here.

Good Faith Estimate — The Good Faith Estimate has been further refined for ease of use and to accommodate new regulatory requirements.

Track Menu — The Track menu has a new look and function. The Track: General screen has been replaced with the new Track: Status screen. Version 6.1 also includes a new Track: Title screen that tracks the Preliminary Title data along with Title Conditions and other Title Report requirements. The previous Track: Manager Screen has a new name: Loan Profit/Loss, which better reflects the screen’s function of tracking loan revenue.

Calyx Network — Initial Disclosures and Closing Documents — These new interfaces allow you to order Initial Disclosures and Closing Documents with a couple of mouse clicks. The process for ordering Initial Disclosures or Closing Documents is the same for both interfaces. A new eLoanFile menu streamlines the process for ordering electronic transactions within the Calyx Network. These screens will assist you in completing the required fields necessary to order Initial Disclosures, Closing Documents, and other Services in Point.

Calyx Network — Hazard Insurance — You can now order Hazard Insurance quotes for your borrower from within Point — and best of all, it’s easy and free! By ordering a free Hazard Insurance quote for your borrower, you can obtain a more accurate reflection of the total loan payment and debt-to-income ratios instantly and close your loans faster than ever before.
