Point 7.2 Service Pack 2 Coming Soon!

We are pleased to announce that Point 7.2 Service Pack 2 (SP2) will be available for download on our calyxsupport.com website in mid-March. SP2 will include critical compliance updates for the GFE 2010 including corrections for the provider list and added lock boxes to calculated fields and "Total from GFE2010."

Additionally, forms 4506 & 4506T have been updated with the required January 2010 date stamp and California users will have access to MLDS Form 882. SP2 also includes multiple updates designed for improved functionality including originator email fields that auto-populate in the GFE, enhanced Freddie Mac interfaces, and easier "Credit to the Borrower" entry fields.

Figuring out the GFE?

The new GFE is definitely the topic of the year and questions about how to complete it in your Calyx Point software continue to be the most popular reason for people calling support. Although we cannot provide a definative answer as to what your lender may be looking for, we will continue to strive for clarity, when it comes to what is in our software and where various figures come from. On that topic, we have recently added a GFE article that discusses what fields transfer data from the Initial Fees Worksheet, to the new GFE (found at calyxsupport.com) and updated another article with larger image views so that you can see the particulars.
