Open for Business!

Ever find yourself wishing you could work on multiple Point screens at the same time? Would having the GFE 2010 screen and the Initial Fees Worksheet open side-by-side save you time and energy in processing your loans? Do you run the same report all the time and wish it would run automatically? It's all possible...and amazingly simple.

To open multiple Point screens at the same time, pull up your borrower file. Click on the first data folder you need to see. At the bottom right of the data screen, click on the box next to "Keep Open". Then proceed to the next data folder. Click on the "Keep Open" box for that one, too. Then go to Window>Tile vertically or Window>Tile horizontally (your preference), and Voila! Both windows appear in your data screen!

To keep your favorite report running automatically, first select the report you want by going to the Reports and Marketing tab and selecting the report. If you are not using a Point defaulted report, you must first go to the Templates tab to create a customized Excel generated report. See Article #0553 of the Knowledge Base for instructions on creating your own reports.

Once you have selected your report, click “Generate.” You will then see “Keep the report results open” option in the middle of your report results screen. Check the box. Now, every time you select the reports tab, this particular report will automatically generate! This tool is available for any report that can be displayed in an excel preformatted excel file but the “display within point” option must also be selected

3. Check status on order from Calyx Point, accessing the Income Verification Service real-time tracking system that monitors each transcript request from the time of submission through receipt and viewing of the transcript.
4. Retrieve results from Calyx Point - saving tax data directly into the system.

Document Express Proudly Introduces New Calyx Interface

Document Express, Inc., a national document provider, is proud to announce the release of our newest Calyx Interface. By simply utilizing the "Interfaces" and "Closing Documents" functions found on the menu bar, Calyx users can select "Document Express" from the list of available document providers to launch our online doc-prep system from within the Point application. Point users will not be forced to exit the Point software at any point during the process.

From the instant the document order is placed, the document package is attached directly to the loan file in Point. Any data changes made in our software can be "written back" to the loan file. These services are paired with a seamless 100% data transfer from Point to Document Express to allow Point users to work more efficiently and effortlessly. It's really that simple!

This new and exciting interface joins a long list of other Document Express applications, including our interface access by clicking on "Services" menu in Point and by selecting "Document Express" from the "Initial Disclosures," "Closing Documents" and "Flood Certifications" choices. Using this interface does not require access to our software, as all functionality and data entry is performed within the Point application.

We added new interfaces to your Point menu! This only applies to users of Point 7.0 (and higher), who opened Point while connected to the Internet on or after March 2nd. The interface installation is automatic.
