As of July 2nd, Point users can now access and run real-time loan searches
through Brokerbuddy's incomparable system directly from inside Point.
Brokerbuddy has established itself as in industry leader by providing
time-tested accuracy, an unmatched ease of use, and a wide array of available
lenders and products, featuring Prime, Alt-A, and Non -Prime
pre-qualifications in just seconds, along with up-to-the-minute rates, commissions,
and all applicable adjustments.

On July 2, Calyx Software will issue an I-Update
that updates the interfaces in Point (versions 5.2 and higher). The update
installs automatically and adds new vendors to the Lenders, Services, and
Interfaces menus in Point. The I-Update also applies
updates to existing connections as needed.
The update process affects only company listings in the Lenders, Services,
and Interfaces menus in Point — no personal information is collected and no
modifications are made to any other portions of your Point software. Sometime
shortly after July 2, when Point 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 users open their software
and are connected to the Internet, Point will automatically receive and
install the I- Update. After the I-Update has been received, the next time
Point is opened, the new listings will appear.

See what's new in Point 6.0.
Calyx plans to ship Point 6.0, free of charge, to all current Point
subscribers in August. Highlights of the new features include:
Banker Screens — The new Banker
screens provide the additional functionality required to make Point the
perfect recording and reporting system for mortgage banking.
AVM Ordering — Automated Valuation
Model (AVM) reports can be ordered right from Point. Results are incorporated
into your loan file instantly.
Marketing Tools — Create custom
letters, promotional emails, and mailing labels instantly. Microsoft Word
2000 (or later) required.
Reports — Point report data can be
easily transferred to Microsoft Excel, enabling you to take advantage of
Excel’s powerful data analysis and charting capabilities. Sample templates
are included to demonstrate the power and ease of using Point Reports with
Excel.
Repeat Loans — Creating a new loan
for an existing customer is now as easy as checking a box. Simply open the
customer’s previous loan file and check “Carry over only 1003 data to start a
new loan.” Point will copy only information contained on the Loan Application
and omit any information that does not apply to the new loan.
Advanced Search — Advanced Search
has been enhanced to make searching for loan files across multiple data
folders much quicker and easier than in previous versions of Point.

Since Calyx plans to release Point 6.0 in August, we ask for your assistance

follow these steps:
· Go to Utilities > Company Defaults > Company Information.

· Enter your information.
· Click the link titled, "Have you moved recently?".
· If you choose to update your information through the Internet, fill in the
screen and your updated information will be sent to Calyx.
