Point includes task management, tracking, and reporting features that make it easy to stay on top of the loans in your pipeline. Comprehensive, flexible reports ensure that you have the information you need to assess and and manage your loan business.
The Task Manager makes it easy to stay on top of tasks associated with a loan file in any data folder. Create tasks for loan officers, processors, or yourself in the form of “to do” lists and use the task log to communicate and monitor progress. Search, view, and sort tasks by borrower, subject, due date, priority, and more. Critical task information will always be at your fingertips.
Point makes it easy for you to stay abreast of every loan in the pipeline. Included in the borrower file is a tracking section where you can maintain the status of each loan. This information is included in detailed tracking reports that can be viewed or printed. Contents include a list of required documents, verification requests, and payments received or missing for each loan file. You can also run a missing documents report to see what items are missing from all files. This report can be generated by a processor or a loan officer, and it can be sorted by any column in the report for quick reference.
Point gives you the flexibility you need to group, sort, total, average, and format reports in a multitude of ways. Specify multiple conditions for each row of your report, add color, change fonts, include custom headers and footers containing your company information, and export reports in several formats, including XML. Point also provides seamless integration with Microsoft Excel, enabling you to take advantage of Excel’s powerful data analysis and charting capabilities. To assist you in managing the workflow in your office, Point includes two types of standard reports—those based on data in single loan files, and those based on groups of loan files.
Eight reports, or ways of viewing data, are included in a single borrower file. Three of these are status reports: Borrower (view), Manager (view), and Realtor (view). The others are Agent List, Conditions List, Trust Account, Internal, and Miscellaneous. These reports can be printed for internal use or faxed directly from Point to the Realtor or the borrower to keep them up to date on the status of the file.
Point offers dozens of reports for groups of borrower files, including Loan Summary, Loan Status, Pipeline, and Late Documents. In addition to standard group reports, Point also provides a Custom Report Generator that allows you to develop your own reports. Simply select the data that you want to extract from the loan files, specify how you’d like it arranged, and give the report a name. You can filter reports in myriad ways—viewing loans originated by a specific loan officer or loans handled by a specific processor are two examples.
