2352 Matching HMDA Codes to Point fields

This article is specifically for matching HMDA Codes to Point fields for HMDA (2017) reporting requirements.

Point allows you to enter loan information as per the HMDA (2017) collection and reporting requirements.

CFPB requires that the loan information is converted into standard codes which represent loan information for the purpose of HMDA reporting.

For example: A Lien Status of "First Lien" will generate a code "1," while a Lien Status of "Not Secured by a lien" will generate a code "3."

Below is the screen location of where all HMDA fields can be located to match with HMDA Codes along with a break down of the field locations. To view a printable copy of the Code Sheet, click the attachment at the bottom of this article.
