1508 Managing Email Templates and Signatures in Zip
The Edit Emails feature allows administrators to manage and customize the layout and content of automated email templates. This includes configuring template sections, applying background colors, inserting images, using merge fields, managing social media placement, and previewing templates before sending emails to borrowers.
Accessing Edit Emails
1. Log in to the Zip Admin Site.
2. From the left navigation panel, select Edit Emails.
3. Choose the email template you want to configure.

4. Select the template and click Edit.

Email Template Sections
Email templates are divided into the following sections:
• Body
• Footer
• Signature
Each section supports merge fields, images, and background color styling.
Merge Fields in Email Templates
Merged fields allow dynamic information to be automatically inserted into an email template and can be used in the Body, Footer, and Signature sections.
1. Open an email template.
2. Open the Merge Fields list.
3. Select the desired merge field.
4. Insert it into the body, footer, or signature.
5. Save the template.

Background Color Picker
Each section of an email template includes a background color picker to support branding and visual consistency.
Steps
1. Open an email template in Edit Emails.
2. Select the Body, Footer, or Signature section.
3. Choose a background color using the color picker.
4. Save the template.
Image Support and Profile Image Merge Field
Images can be added directly to email templates, including inserting a user’s profile image using a merge field.
1. Open an email template.
2. Select the section where the image should appear.
3. Use the image tool or select the Profile Image merge field.

4. Save the template.
Template Preview and Sample View
Email previews display placeholder content for layout review. Sample emails can be sent to confirm actual merged field data and profile images.
• Send Sample Email: Send a sample email to yourself to review actual merged field data and user profile images.
• Set Back to Default: Reset the email template back to the default placeholder view template.
