1509 Adding Social Media Links to Email & Signature Templates in Zip
Zip allows administrators to add social media links to automated email templates, including the Body, Footer, and Signature sections. Social media links are managed centrally and inserted into templates using merged fields for flexible placement.
Social Media Link Configuration
Social media links are managed centrally and inserted into email templates using merge fields.
- Log in to the Zip Admin Site.
- Select Edit Emails from the left navigation panel.

3. Open the email template you want to update and select Edit.
4. Navigate to the Manage Social Media section.
5. Select up to five social media links to make available.
6. Return to the email template editor.
7. Select the section where the social media links should appear:
o Body
o Footer
o Signature
8. Open the Merge Fields dropdown.
9. Insert the desired social media merge field.
10. Select Save to apply the changes.

Important Notes:
• Social media links must be configured in Manage Social Media before they appear as merge field options.
• The social media links selected decide which merge fields are available in the editor.
• Social media links can be reused across multiple sections of the same email template.
• A maximum of five social media links can be used per email template.
• Social media links can appear in the Body, Footer, or Signature sections.
