This guide explains how to create a Closing Cost Scenario directly from the Fees Worksheet in Calyx Point. This feature allows you to quickly generate reusable templates for closing costs, improving workflow efficiency and accuracy.
Locate the "Create Closing Cost Scenario" Button
- Open the Fees Worksheet in your loan file.
- Look for the newly added "Create Closing Cost Scenario" button.
Generating a New Closing Cost Scenario
- Click the "Create Closing Cost Scenario" button.
- A new scenario will automatically generate using the fee data currently entered in the worksheet.
Name and Customize Your Scenario
- Enter a name for your new scenario.
- Choose one of the following options:
- There is a checkbox to “Include Paid To and Company” information, along with the fee amounts, when creating the scenario.
- If the “Include Paid To and Company” checkbox is not selected, the system will include only the fee amounts in the closing cost scenario.
Save and Reuse Your Scenario
- Once saved, the scenario will appear in your list of available Closing Cost Scenarios.
