Important: PointCentral Versions must be Step Upgraded to get to the latest upgraded version.

"Step Upgraded" refers to the process of incrementally upgrading software or a system from one version to another. Instead of jumping directly to the latest version, you take intermediate steps, upgrading to each successive version until you reach the desired target version. This approach helps ensure a smoother transition and minimizes potential issues during the upgrade process.

Important: Customer will need paid PSG time if more than 2 versions behind on PointCentral Server.

Important: All users must exit point while the update is performed.

Additional Information:

PointCentral requires a MyCalyx Digital Key to manage users and licenses. The MyCalyx Digital Key refreshes monthly and is synchronized with your MyCalyx.com account.

PointCentral automatically obtains the MyCalyx Digital Key every month. However, if the server is not able to communicate with the MyCalyx.com server due to Internet access problems or restrictions, you must manually copy the MyCalyx Digital Key from MyCalyx.com to the PointCentral Administration page.

To refresh the key manually, click the MyCalyx Digital Key button on the MyCalyx PointCentral download page and copy the key to PointCentral Administration.
