6319 The Underlying connection was closed...Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream

SYMPTOM

When you log into Point or click Test Connection from Point Administrator, an error occurs: "The underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on a send. Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream..."

CAUSE

There is an invalid slash in the url path for Point Data Server.

RESOLUTION

Enter a valid service url

1. Click Start > All Programs > Calyx Software > Point Administrator.
2. In the Point Data Server section, click Settings.
3. Enter the appropriate forward slash, ( / ), in the url path. For example: ...mypdsserver.com/service
