      The Point has encountered a problem and needs to close" or Pointstarter.exe has stopped working error has occurred.

       

      CAUSE

      Microsoft .NET Framework is not functioning correctly due to an invalid version of mscoree.dll

       

      RESOLUTION

      Uninstall/Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework

      6009 Running the Microsoft .NET Framework cleanup utility
