      6419 We're sorry but this install type is not available

      SYMPTOM

      When opening a <filename>.pcf file, an error occurs: "We're sorry but this install type is not available."

       

      CAUSE

      An application has been specified in the .pcf file type.

       

      RESOLUTION

      Remove the application name from the .pcf file type

      1. Go to My Computer.
      2. From the menu bar, select Tools > Folder Options.
      3. From the Folder Options window, select the PCF file type.

      4. Click Advanced.
      5. From the Advanced window, select Edit.
      6. Remove PCF from the Application field.
      7. Click OK.
