      6422 PCF Failed to get Auto File Name

      SYMPTOM

      When opening a Point file attachment, (.PCF), generates an error: PCF Error "Failed to get Auto File Name."

      CAUSE

      Auto File Naming is enabled and the Counter has exceeded the set limit.

       

      RESOLUTION

      Increase the Auto File Naming counter

      1. Open Point.
      2. From the menu bar, select Utilities > Auto File Naming > Prospect or Utilities > Auto File Naming >Borrower.

      3. In the Counter dropdown list, select a higher counter than what is currently selected.
      4. Click OK.
