6447 Section of the Act error (118347) when submitting to Fannie Mae

​Symptom

Error 118347, Section of the Act is Missing or invalid, occurs when submitting a loan to Fannie Mae.

Cause

The FHA Loan Data section on the Interfaces > Fannie Mae > Government screen has missing or incomplete data.

Solution

To resolve this problem, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Interfaces > Fannie Mae > Government.
2. Verify that the fields in the FHA Loan Data section are completed properly.
3. Resubmit the loan to Fannie Mae.
