      6448 Institution ID not specified in the request...is not valid for the user ID / Not a valid institution for this user. Index out of range...

      SYMPTOM

      When you submit a file to Fannie Mae, an error occurs: "Not a valid institution for this user. Index out of range..."

      CAUSE

      The Institution ID entered into Point does not match the Institution ID for the Fannie Mae user account.


      RESOLUTION

      Remove the Institution ID from the Fannie Mae > Addendum screen

      1. From the menu bar, select Interfaces > Fannie Mae > Addendum.
      2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and then remove the Institution ID.
      3. Submit the file to Fannie Mae.

      If the error occurs for all files that you submit to Fannie Mae, then you should remove the Institution ID from the utilities menu.

      1. From the menu bar, select Utilities > Fannie Mae Connectivity.
      2. Remove the Institution ID.
