      6462 Connectivity error occurs after a Windows update

      SYMPTOM

      One of the following messages is displayed when accessing Point or PointCentral:

      6462 Connectivity a6462 Connectivity b

      Point

      6462 Connectivity c

       

      CAUSE

      A windows update prevented the winpoint.ini file from updating properly.

       

      RESOLUTION

      Run Point as an Administrator

      6003 Running Point as an administrator

      Copy the winpoint.ini file

      6002 Copying the winpoint.ini file
