      6490 Installation requires the use of Microsoft Edge version 87 or higher message

      When you click the Install Point link from a MyCalyx email to being installation of Point you may receive a message stating that the Microsoft Edge browser is now required for the install. This message will show when your default web browser is set to anything other than Microsoft Edge and you click the install Point link from the installation email.

       

      To install Point using Microsoft Edge:

      1. Copy the full hyperlink from the message.

      2. Open your Edge browser.

      3. Paste the hyperlink into your address bar.

      4. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

      5. The screen will now loan and show the Install button to be clicked.

      6. Click the button to start the install process.
