Some users may experience duplicate files when searching for loans in Point. When this issue occurs, the files are not actually duplicated but rather they appear twice in the search results.
Please do not try and resolve the issue by deleting a duplicate file. If a duplicate file is deleted, it will also delete the original file. Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:
How to refresh the search results
- Open Point.
- From the menu bar, select File > Rebuild List.
- Select the data folder that contains the duplicate files.
- Check the Prospect, Borrower, and Tasks checkbox.
- Click Start.
It will count all your files and rebuild the search results. Once completed, perform a loan search. If the problem still exist, please contact the customer service group at 800-342-2599.
