      6619 Connecting/Creating data folders from Point Administrator do not appear or save

      SYMPTOM

      When you connect to a data folder from Point Administrator, the folder does not save in the Data Folder Manager Window.


      CAUSE

      You do not have write access to the C:\WINDOWS\winpoint.ini file. This file stores the path to every connected data folder. If you do not have write access to the file, any data folder to which you connect is not saved.


      RESOLUTION

      Contact the IT Administrator to give you full permission to the winpoint.ini file in the Windows folder.
