6620 The Send button is missing in Outlook when launching e-mail from Point

SYMPTOM

There is not a Send button in Outlook when sending e-mail from Point.


CAUSE

  • The wrong default e-mail application is selected in Internet Explorer
  • The Outlook profile must be re-created

RESOLUTION

The wrong default e-mail application is selected in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From the Menu bar, select Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Click the Programs tab.
  4. In the E-mail field, be sure that Outlook or Outlook Express is selected.

The Outlook profile must be re-created

Contact your network administrator or your Internet Service Provider for assistance on re-creating the Outlook profile in order to correct the issue.
