6644 The text of an e-mail is not sent when e-mailing files from Point


When you send an e-mail from Point, the text of the message is not included.



Outlook removes the text from an e-mail when the mail format is HTML.



Change the Outlook message format to Plain Text



  1. Open Outlook on the sender’s system.
  2. From the Menu bar, select Tools > Options.
  3. Click the Mail Format tab.
  4. In the Compose Message in this Format dropdown list, change the format from HTML to Plain Text.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Re-send the E-mail from Point again.
