Creating custom lead statuses involves defining unique tracking categories for potential borrowers. This allows users to tailor lead management workflows to their specific business needs.
1. Click the Templates tab at the top of the screen.
2. Select the tab for Dropdown Lists and select the radio button for Leads.
3. From the Select Tab dropdown, from the dropdown select Status.
4. From the Select Menu dropdown, from the dropdown select Tracking.
5. From the Select dropdown menu, choose Status.
6. The List Item section should now display default Lead statuses. If the default statuses are not visible, click the Load Default button.
7. Click the Plus icon to add a custom Lead status.
8. In the Add List Item dialog, enter the Lead status name in the List Item field and, if necessary, add a description. Then, click Save & Close.
9. The custom status will appear at the bottom of the list with a trashcan icon to its right.
10. To hide a status from the Lead status dropdown, check the box in the Display column. This will move it to the Non-Displayed Items section, making it hidden in the Lead status dropdown menu.
11. Click Save.
Note: You must log out of Zenly and back in before the changes take effect.
12. Return to your lead file, and the status dropdown will reflect the updates made.
