8107 Assigning a Loan Originator to a file in Zenly

When a Borrower Interview comes in through a Zip Landing Page, the Loan Originator will already be assigned to the file as the application was submitted under that specific LO. This article will cover how to enter or assign a Loan Originator to a file that has been manually entered or imported into the Zenly system.

To assign a Loan Originator to a file:

1. Select and open the loan file.

2. The file will automatically open under the Status tab.

3. Click Contacts from the left menu bar.

4. Click the Add button to add a new Contact to the file.

a. If there is a previous Loan Originator assigned to the file, click and open the entry.

5. Use the Contact Type dropdown to select Loan Originator.

6. Complete the contact information columns for the LO's personal and company information as applicable.

a. The Email field must be completed if eSign disclosure packages will be sent out on this file including documents for the LO to sign.

7. Use the Additional Information section at the bottom of the window to complete the entry.

a. Click into each entry line to open a secondary Edit Detail window for completing the data for that field.

b. The Loan Originator Mobile field, when completed, is used as a SMS security feature for part of the eSign process.

8. Click the Save & Close button to complete this entry and exit to the Contacts screen.

9. Click the main Save button at the top of your workspace to update the Loan Originator on the file.

This change will reflect on the main Loans page under the Loan Originator column and the assigned LO will now see the files in their system, as well.
