      1500 Populating the LEI from a master template

      To automatically populate the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) using a master template:

      For information about creating a master file template, refer to knowledge base article 1501 Creating a master file template.

      1. Create a new master file template or open an existing one.
      2. Select Track > HMDA > HMDA Reporting (2018) from the main menu.
      3. Enter the number in the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) field.
      4. Save the template.

      When this template is applied to a loan, the LEI is automatically populated.
