2706 Create New Folder or Unnesting Nested Data Folders

Note: Nested folders will cause indexing issues in Point.  Best practice is to keep all folders unnested and 1500 files or less.

1.    Create New folder along root directory.

- Open Point Administrator.

- Select Setup Data Folders.

- Select Create New.

- Enter the New folder name on the root directory.

- Select Create, Close and Exit.

2.    Copy only the loans files (with extentions .brw, cb1) to the new folders under BORROWER or PROSPECT (ie. C:\2024 ACTIVE\BORROWER).

3.    Open Point and recreate indexing by choosing Rebuild list.

4. Chose each folder from the Data Folder dropdown list and click Start button.
