SYMPTOM
The Error retrieving data message occurs when submitting a Point loan to Fannie Mae
CAUSES
- Computer time or date is wrong
- Internet security settings are too strict
- The updated file is not overwriting the existing data in the Work directory, and the contents must be removed
RESOLUTION
The computer time or date is wrong
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Double-click Date and Time.
- Verify that the Date, Year, Time, and Time Zone are correct.

6010 Deleting all files in the applications Work directory
Remove the fannie.ini
