6460 Corrupt File for Folder Issue

Any of the below items may reveal the presence of a corrupt file(s) in the loan pipeline.

  1. Unable to save loan content
  2. Unable to open a loan file from any folder
  3. Unsuccessful rebuild list
    • Rebuild list display error “unable to rebuild list” after counting to a certain loan count.
    • Point freeze after rebuild list failure with no error displayed
    • Capture screen shots of any error(s) displayed.
    • Different versions of Point is being used in the environment
  4. Open Point Administrator and notate the location of the Point folder(s) either shared on a network drive or local on the Point machine.

    • Borrower sub-folder size is greater than 1500 Files
    • Prospect sub-folder size is greater than 1500 Files

    • If either sub-folder size is greater than 1500 Files, the folder size will need to be reduced.  Adding a new folder and copying some of the files to it.

 

Issue: Either the folder in use is corrupted or a file within the folder is corrupting Points ability to index.

 

Resolve:

Create a New Folder using the following steps: Knowledge Base 2706
