Symptom
The error message 2001 Invalid Casefile ID is displayed when submitting a UCD XML file through the Fannie Mae UCD portal.
Cause
The value in the Casefile ID # field on the Fannie Mae Results screen in Point is invalid.
Resolution
Remove the value from the field.
To remove the value from the Casefile ID # field:
1. Open the loan associated with the UCD XML that caused the error.
2. Select Banker > Underwriting from the main menu.
3. Scroll down to the Automated Underwriting section.
4. Delete the value in the Casefile No field.
5. Save the loan.
6. Add the Closing Disclosure to the document repository.

7. Export the data to UCD XML.
Refer to knowledge base article 5500 Exporting data to UCD XML for instructions to export the data to a UCD XML file.
8. Submit the UCD XML file to the GSE.
Note:
A Lender must be chosen, and the Casefile ID must be in either the Interim or Final status prior to the UCD being completed. If not, the error 2001 will appear on the screen.
