7001 Requesting borrower documents using Point of Sale

To request documents for your borrower(s) to upload you must first have a Point of Sale account and your Point software configured for Point of Sale.

To create a Point of Sale account visit https://onlineorder.zipforhome.com/order/order1?LOS=POINT.

To configure your Point software to use Point of Sale refer to knowledge base article 1139 Setting the Zip/WebCaster Preferences.


Requesting Documents

1. Open the loan file in Point.

2. Navigate to Track > Status.

3. Scroll down to the Document Request section.

4. Press and hold the Ctrl button on your keyboard while using your mouse to select multiple document line items you wish to send.

Note: If you have not applied a Borrower Master Template to the file, this table will be empty.

5. Click the Send/Retrieve button.

The Send/Retrieve window will open.

6. Verify the borrower email address and the selected documents are correct.

7. Enter in any notes to your borrower.

8. Click the Send/Retrieve button.

The Document Transaction Status window will open confirming your request has been sent.

9. Click OK.


Retrieving uploaded borrower documents

Once your borrower has uploaded the requested documents and you have received the notification email verifying the task has been completed, you can then pull those documents into your Point software.

1. Open the loan file in Point.

2. Navigate to Track > Status.

3. Scroll to the Document Requests section.

4. Click the Send/Retrieve button.

2. Open the Document Manager (eLoanFile > Document Management or the file cabinet icon).

3. Click the Send/Retrieve button.

You will be able to review and add the uploaded documents into the Document Manager for that loan file.
